We would first off all like to thank you for visiting our website.  Many people have asked us how "Arek Malinois" come about.  We dedicated the business to Maureen's German Shepherd "Arich".  He taught Maureen that there was more that one way to teach and train dogs.  No words could ever described the impact he not only had on Maureen but all that knew him.  Unfortunately Arich's time with Maureen was short when he was diagnosed with Epilepsy at a year and half and passed away a year and half later.  We felt that the best way to keep his memory alive was to dedicate the Kennel and the Business to him.  

 

When we decided to start Arek Malinois our intentions were to start a Boarding and Training facility that offered something different.  We hope that we have met and even exceeded our expectations.  Our love of  Malinois has inspired us to start our own breeding program in which we will produce quality Malinois.  We breed high drive Malinois for Police, SAR, and Sport Homes.  Our Malinois compete in CKC Obedience, Tracking, Schutzhund, and Ringsport.  Arek Malinois is home to Mountain Ringsport Club and are the exclusive trainers to Brockville Police K9.

 

With over 23 years experience, Maureen and Rob have something to offer every dog enthusiast.  We are members of German Shepherd Schutzhund Club of Canada,  and The CKC and founders of the GlennGarry Dog Sport Club.
